  This website is dedicated to the development of an international listing of IHC tests performed by AAVLD accrediated / affiliated veterinary diagnostic laboratories. Simultaneously, a virtual bank of positive-control tissue is being created in an effort to allow all participants to share positive controls whenever possible. This data has been collected from institutional user guides posted on the world wide web and from individuals responding to email requests posted on the AAVLD-listserv. Requests for positive-control tissue are to be made directly to the contact party listed and not to this website nor to the website host. The agency hosting this website provides no explicit nor implicit warranty concerning the quality or utility of any tissue.      
  Participants are encouraged to make themselves aware of the criteria by which the control-tissue was found to be positive for the antigen of interest; e.g. were other tests such as virus isolation, fluorescent antibody testing, PCR, etc. performed to confirm the positive status of the control tissue? Note: the institutions listed have not agreed to share antibodies and/or reagents for particular tests. If you are interested in finding a particular antibody you will need to contact the appropriate party with that institution or check the various antibody manufacturing companies.
